Cre8 uses an industry-standard Microsoft SQL database along with a fully XML and Adobe Flash based display model for its content editing and delivery environment.  A set of XML files is produced during the editing and content creation process and it is the data from these files that is used by a sophisticated Adobe Flash based engine for the run-time version of the e-learning.  This makes the content easily transportable to different hosting platforms without the requirement of a structured database environment.
